Newborn Sleep Packages

Gentle, expert newborn sleep support from a Norland nanny and OCN qualified sleep consultant

Those first weeks with a newborn are magical, overwhelming, exhausting and beautiful all at once. Nobody really prepares you for the relentlessness of it -- the broken nights, the cluster feeds, the moments where you are convinced you must be doing something wrong when actually, you are doing everything right.

I am Lottie, a Norland nanny with 10 years experience, a Norland Maternity Practitioner, and OCN qualified sleep consultant based in Tetbury, Gloucestershire. I work with new parents across the UK to help navigate those early weeks with more confidence, more calm and a lot less second guessing.

Whether you are expecting your first baby and want to feel prepared, or you are already in the thick of the newborn stage and desperately need some support, I have a package designed exactly for you.

My goal is simple. To turn your confusion and uncertainty into relief, and give you the space to actually enjoy your baby.

Newborn sleep is not supposed to be perfect. I would never expect a newborn to sleep through the night. But it does not have to feel chaotic either. With the right gentle strategies and newborn sleep support in place from the very beginning, those early weeks can feel so much calmer, more confident and so much more enjoyable.

They are only a newborn once. Let me help you enjoy every moment of it.

Newborn Guide

Those first weeks with a newborn are something nobody can fully prepare you for. The broken nights, the cluster feeding, the moments where you are convinced you must be doing something wrong when actually, you are doing everything right. This guide was written for exactly those moments.

Across ten easy to read chapters, this newborn sleep guide covers everything you need to know about newborn sleep. You will discover why your baby sleeps the way they do, how to gently build a bedtime routine that actually works, what feeding has to do with sleep, how to spot signs of reflux and tummy discomfort, and why rocking your baby to sleep is not a bad habit -- it is biology. The guide also looks ahead to the four month mark and beyond, so you feel prepared for every stage, not just the one you are in right now.

This guide is for you if you are in the thick of the newborn phase and need someone to tell you it is going to be okay. If you want to understand what is actually happening with your baby's sleep, rather than just being handed a rigid routine to follow. And if you are looking for gentle, practical newborn sleep steps you can start today, without overhauling everything or feeling overwhelmed.

This package was created for exactly that moment. When what you really need is not more advice from the internet, but a calm, knowledgeable pair of hands right there beside you. Someone to show you, guide you and remind you that you are doing far better than you think.

As a Norland Maternity Practitioner and Norland nanny with 10 years experience, I will come to your home early in the morning and spend the full day with you. Showing you what to do, explaining why it works and making sure you never feel alone in it.

What will we cover?

Sleep and Routine: I will review your day and night routine and gently adjust where needed, helping your baby find their natural rhythm. I will guide you through creating a calming bedtime routine that feels right for your family, show you how to put your baby down to sleep with confidence and make sure your nursery and sleep environment is set up just right. All safe sleep guidance follows The Lullaby Trust recommendations.

Feeding Support Whether you are breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding or using formula, I have got you covered. I will offer patient, practical feeding support tailored to you and your baby, including the best bottle positions to reduce wind, burping and soothing techniques and breastmilk storage guidance so you always feel prepared.

Practical Skills and Confidence From nappy changes and dressing your newborn, to safe swaddling, using a baby sling, sterilising bottles and dummies and finding the right car seat and pram for your lifestyle, I will walk you through everything step by step until it feels second nature.

Your Wellbeing and Recovery This day is for you too. I will support your postnatal recovery with gentle nutrition and self care guidance, whether you have had a vaginal birth or a c section, and help your partner find their own confidence and rhythm alongside you. I will also help you work out what you actually need to buy and what you really do not.

Ongoing Support You will receive weekly emails as your baby grows until 12 weeks, with space to ask anything along the way. And throughout our whole day together, no question is ever too small or too silly.

By the end of our day together you will have something far more valuable than a list of things you have learned. You will have genuine confidence. The kind that comes from having done it, been shown it and felt it click into place.

The uncertainty will begin to lift, and in its place you will find something that feels a lot like calm. You came into this day not quite knowing what you were doing. You will leave feeling like the parent you always knew you could be.

Lottie is highly organised, proactive, adaptable, caring, trustworthy and has a wonderful sense of humour. Everything she does is executed to the highest standard and she’s always thinking ahead”

  • Alice

I couldn’t bear the thought of her not in my life, but amazingly when the time came she had quietly set me up for life without her and I found I was confident enough to continue without her

  • Charlotte

With Lottie’s guidance I was able to gain confidence in feeding very quickly and haven’t looked back. Lottie has fantastic advice and is always very encouraging and friendly, and I have no doubt made a tough time much easier and more enjoyable for us all

  • Joanne

Lottie took time to get to know our girls’ personalities and traits – they were always treated as individuals and the night-time plans were created accordingly - the goal being to have them both sleep through the night. She taught the girls how to sleep with their arms out, how to sleep for longer and their sleep cues. At 6 months old both girls are confidently sleeping through the night and that’s thanks to Lottie.”Quote Source

“Lottie is an absolute star, and we would have been utterly lost without her. We could not possibly do justice with words to how strongly we would recommend her”
